      • Certified documents that prove the applicant’s highest education.
      • Certification of non-criminal record.
      • Visa fee.
2. Visa Extension in Thailand
Foreign students can extend their non-immigrant visa before the expiry date. Yonok Personnel Office will prepare all the documentation necessary for your application, and they will inform you of the date you must make an appearance at the Office of Immigration Bureau, Chiangmai. Qualified persons can obtain an additional 1-year stay permit from the day of entry, referring to the Office of Immigration Bureau’s on extension of stay. You will be required to bring with you the following materials:
      • Your passport or other travel document with validity of not less than 6 months.
      • Application form completely filled out.
      • One (1) passport-size photographs (front view, color or black and white).

      • Photocopy of passport.
      • Fee for the extension of stay: 1,900 baht.

3. Report to the Office of Immigration Bureau every 90 days
You are required to report to the Office of Immigration Bureau every 90 days. Just go to the Chiangmai office and fill in the form concerning your latest address.

4. Re-entry Permit
If you plan to leave during the semester break, then you have to apply for a re-entry permit. You can get the permit at the Office of Immigration Bureau, Chiangmai or at the Office of Immigration Bureau, any international airport in Thailand. Bring with you the following materials:
      • Your passport or other travel document with validity of not less than 6 months.
      • Application form completely filled out.
      • One (1) passport-size photographs (front view, color or black and white).
      • Fee for the re-entry permit: 1,000 baht for single re-entry and 3,800 for multiple re-entry within one year or before the expiry date of your visa.
Notify the YIC Office of any travel plans that you may have several days in advance. They are responsible to be aware of when you will be leaving the country, when you will be returning and your visa status in the meantime. Failure to notify the YIC Office of such matters can cost you a great deal in terms of bureaucratic hassles and late fees.
